For labs with requirements satisfied by MSC-LIMS "out of the box," MSC-LIMS' non-source code Annual Subscription license can be used to extend acquisition costs over several years. Labs not quite sure whether they will need the source code included with a Full System license can also take advantage of this strategy.
Below are comparisons of Full System license costs and Annual Subscription licenses upgraded to Full Systems after one, two, and three years. All costs are for five-user licenses. Note that the costs below are for licenses and annual maintenance only and do not include on-site installation and training. See the Price List for details.
A lab beginning with a five-user Full System license and renewing their Annual Maintenance in subsequent years will incur the following costs over five years.

* The cost to upgrade to a Full System license is the cost of the Full System license less either 60% of the subscription fees paid or 80% of the Full System license, whichever is smaller. See the Price List for more information. Note that an upgrade to a Full System license also includes Annual Maintenance for one year.
